The CalFresh Fruit and Vegetable EBT Pilot is ending. Fruit and vegetable EBT incentives will no longer be available after April 14.

The program could restart in the summer if the California legislature and Governor provide more funding in the 2024-2025 state budget. Or, if funding isn’t provided this summer, it could restart at a later time depending on funding being made available.

If you want to see this program continue, please take just 1 minute to sign the petition and/or email your California Assemblymember and Senator today!

For more information about the end of the program, see our Frequently Asked Questions.

What is the CA Fruit and Veggie EBT Pilot Program?

Get more fruits and vegetables when you spend your CalFresh EBT dollars at participating grocery stores. For each $1 of your CalFresh EBT that you spend on any fresh fruits and vegetables you get $1 back on your EBT card.

How it works

Step 1
Use your EBT card to buy fresh fruits and vegetables at a participating grocery store
Step 2
For every $1 you spend, earn $1 back on your EBT Card, up to $60 per month

Step 3
Spend your CA Fruit and Veggie EBT Incentives on anything Calfresh/EBT eligible at any store in a future shopping trip.
