What is the CalFresh Fruit and Veggie EBT Program?

On June 30, 2026, the CalFresh Fruit and Veggie EBT Pilot will end across California!

The funding for this pilot program has run out because it is very popular and makes it easy for California families to earn bonus dollars when they buy fruits and veggies.

The program could return if more funds are approved in the California state budget but we won't know until the budget is approved in July 2026. To stay informed visit: California Department of Social Services: CalFresh Fruit and Vegetable EBT Pilot Project

This program gives you more fruits and vegetables when you spend your CalFresh EBT dollars at participating grocery stores.

For each $1 of your CalFresh EBT you spend on fresh fruits and vegetables you get $1 back on your EBT card.

In Monterey County the program is available at Santa Fe Mercado 1017 N Main St, Salinas, CA 93906.
